Test of FDOPA PET scan to evaluate a brain tumor

Who can take part

  • Be age 18 to 75
  • Be able to do usual daily activities (WHO condition score 0–2)
  • Have a single (one-area) brain tumor found at first diagnosis that MRI did not show with contrast, suspected to be a low-grade glioma, with biopsy or surgery planned within 6 months after the PET scan
  • Have a brain MRI within 3 weeks before joining, using standard sequences (T1, contrast T1, and T2 FLAIR)
  • Be covered by a social security plan and have signed informed consent
  • Be able to safely have an FDOPA PET scan
