This trial studies whether taking anti-inflammatory medicine (ibuprofen or similar “NSAID” drugs) can improve what doctors learn in people whose PSA blood test is higher than expected and who need more prostate testing. It may help reduce unnecessary procedures or improve next-step decisions, but only if you meet safety and eligibility rules.

Who can take part
- You are a man age 18 to 80.
- Your PSA blood test is above 3 (ng/ml) and your doctor is planning more prostate tests like MRI or biopsy.
- Your prostate exam (digital rectal exam) is normal.
- You do not have symptoms of a current urine infection (like burning when you pee, foul-smelling urine, or a positive urine culture).
- You cannot have certain safety risks: allergy to ibuprofen/NSAIDs, recent catheter (within 6 weeks), serious kidney disease, serious liver disease, prior GI bleeding from NSAIDs, or a known bleeding disorder.
- You should not take medicines that increase bleeding risk (some blood thinners/dual blood-platelet meds) and you should not be taking anti-inflammatory or steroid medicines at the same time.
