Who can take part

  • You must be able to understand the study and sign consent (or be able to complete the required screening).
  • If you’re an adult, you should have had a heart transplant and a baseline heart MRI before April 2017.
  • If you’re a child, you must be receiving a baseline heart MRI at Lurie (and have had a heart transplant if in the transplant group).
  • Your kidneys must work well enough; people with very low kidney function may need special imaging or may be excluded.
  • You must be able to safely have an MRI (no certain metal implants or other MRI-safety problems).
