Who can take part

  • The child must be between 10 and 18 years old.
  • They need either a heart transplant (at least 6 months ago) or a moderate to complex congenital heart condition.
  • They must be able to speak English and have no conditions that prevent exercise or an MRI.
  • They cannot have had recent heart rejection, chest pain during exercise, or a recent abnormal stress test.
  • They must not be pregnant or have any other medical or mental limitation that would make the test unsafe or impossible.
