Who can take part
- You must have rectal cancer confirmed or strongly suspected (from exam/colonoscopy).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You can give written informed consent and agree to be in the study.
- Your MRI images must be clear enough for analysis (not severely blurred by artifacts).
- You should have received neoadjuvant therapy for locally advanced rectal cancer and complete it before surgery, with surgery planned within 2 weeks of the MRI.
- You should not have had prior rectal cancer treatment, other cancers (as a history/combination), or no surgery; and you should be willing to stay in follow-up without withdrawing.
