Who can take part

  • Your call must be handled through EMS regulation for ambulance dispatch
  • It must involve a possible cardiac arrest detected during the call handling process
  • The situation should not be clearly caused by trauma (for example, a major injury)
  • The call should not already be confirmed as cardiac arrest by the caller or by the emergency system operator
  • The call should not already meet criteria showing the person has proven death
  • The caller must speak French well enough for the call details to be usable
