Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 85 years old, and you can consent to the study
  • You have symptomatic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF that comes and goes)
  • Your doctor thinks you’re a suitable candidate for catheter ablation (a procedure to treat AF)
  • You do NOT have a reason you cannot safely have catheter ablation or general anesthesia
  • You don’t have certain heart or blood conditions (like a clot in the left heart chamber, moderate-or-worse valve disease, or heart failure that is severe)
