- Be 18 years or older
- Have confirmed or suspected MGUS
- Agree to and be able to give informed consent
- Have evidence of MGUS on blood tests (not just a borderline light-chain result)
- Not have rapidly worsening abnormal protein levels or rapidly increasing light chains when joining
