Who can take part

- Be scheduled for an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart to look for endocarditis)
- You may have either a transthoracic echo (through the chest) or a transesophageal echo (through the esophagus)
- Your heart scan is being done to rule out or assess endocarditis
- You must be willing to participate (no refusal)
