Who can take part

  • You’re an adult (18 years or older).
  • You have high-grade aortic valve narrowing (aortic valve stenosis).
  • Your care team plans an elective TAVI procedure through the groin under pain medicines (not full general anesthesia).
  • You can understand the study and follow the VR instructions in your chosen language.
  • You don’t have severe hearing or severe vision problems that would stop you from using the VR goggles (with your usual glasses/contacts if needed).
  • You don’t have epilepsy, pregnancy, severe dementia, or other concerns that would make following the study difficult.
