Who can take part
- You are a woman aged 18 or older.
- You have a breast tumor that cannot be felt by hand.
- You are scheduled for breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy).
- You have early-stage breast cancer (stage T1 or T2) or ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
- You may have had chemotherapy before surgery, but the tumor is still not palpable.
