This trial compares three different methods (ultrasound, wire, or magnetic seed) used during surgery to help doctors remove a breast tumor that can't be felt. Who can take part

  • You have breast cancer that can't be felt by hand but can be seen on imaging.
  • You are planning to have a lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery).
  • You are a woman aged 18 or older.
  • Your cancer is either early-stage invasive breast cancer or ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
  • You may have had chemotherapy before surgery and are still a candidate for lumpectomy.
  • You are able to understand and agree to the study.
