Rebooting infant pain care using skin-to-skin contact

Who can take part

  • You must be a parent of a baby currently in the NICU or a healthcare worker in the NICU.
  • If you are a parent, you need to speak English comfortably.
  • Your baby must be born between 25 weeks and 32 weeks 6 days of pregnancy.
  • Your baby must be less than 8 weeks old (after birth).
  • Your baby must need a routine heel prick (blood test).
  • Your baby cannot have birth defects, be on pain medicine (except sugar water), have a history of low oxygen, or have a bad diaper rash.
