Who can take part
- Be able to sign consent and follow study instructions
- If you can become pregnant, use at least one reliable birth control method from screening through month 3
- Have a primary care provider
- If you have HIV: be 18+ with confirmed HIV-1, and have well-controlled viral levels on stable HIV treatment (or be an “elite controller” with long-term undetectable levels)
- If you are in the healthy comparison group: be 50+ and not have any immune problems (including a negative HIV test at screening)
