Who can take part

  • You’re female and age 18 or older.
  • Your cancer is early stage and has been treated with breast-conserving surgery (not full breast removal).
  • You would receive whole-breast radiation only, without radiation to nearby lymph nodes.
  • Your diagnosis includes invasive (infiltrating) breast cancer and/or DCIS (a non-invasive breast cancer).
  • You can legally and willingly consent to join the research.
  • You do not have distance-spread cancer (no metastases).
  • You do not have major reasons you cannot do radiation, like being pregnant or unable to stay in position during treatments.
