Who can take part

  • You must be a woman age 18 or older and able to sign consent
  • You had breast-conserving surgery (not a full mastectomy) and still need radiation
  • Your cancer is an invasive adenocarcinoma, and not the classic type of invasive lobular cancer
  • Your lymph nodes are involved (node-positive), with no distant spread to other organs
  • You cannot have had prior breast or chest (mediastinal) radiation
