Who can take part
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of Klinefelter syndrome (47,XXY) or mosaic XXY
- Your age fits the study group you would join (16–40 or 18–65)
- For one group: you want a child or are interested in saving fertility, and you have no sperm in a semen test
- For the other group: you do not want fertility, and you have low testosterone effects (called hypogonadism) and higher metabolic risk (overweight plus insulin resistance)
- You do not have conditions that make hormone-raising treatments unsafe, like prostate or breast cancer, active liver disease, or certain heart symptoms
- You can follow the study plan and don’t have major issues with study participation (severe mental health problems, language barriers, substance abuse)
