Preserving Memory in People With Epilepsy Using Brain Stimulation

Who can take part

  • A doctor team has determined you likely have epilepsy (your diagnosis was discussed at a management meeting).
  • You can follow study instructions, and you can give informed consent (or a parent/guardian can, for assent).
  • Your verbal memory testing must be relatively preserved (not too low on standardized tests).
  • You have enough seizure activity: at least 2 seizures of any type per month, and if you have generalized seizures, not more than about 3 per month on average.
  • You can read and understand English well enough for tests and consent forms.
  • You must be 18 to 65 years old.
