- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You are currently hospitalized for coronary heart disease and are having PCI (the stent/artery-opening procedure).
- You complete the planned PCI procedure during this hospital stay.
- You do not have serious current or ongoing infections, immune diseases, or immune-related illnesses.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant you use reliable birth control. Also, you are not on long-term steroids, immunotherapy/immunomodulating medicines, chemotherapy, or long-term non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (like ibuprofen/naproxen).
