Who can take part
- You can stand by yourself and walk for more than 5 minutes
- Your age fits one of these groups: 18–50 or 50–80
- You do not have a current or past nerve (neurological) problem in your legs, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or acute neuritis
- You do not have a current or past leg bone/joint (orthopedic) problem, such as knee replacement, rheumatoid arthritis, or sports injuries
- Your lower-extremity issues (if any) are not from the types listed in the exclusions
