This study tests a “digital twin” computer model to help guide an exoskeleton (an assisted device for walking) during a small pilot program. You may be invited if you can stand and walk independently for over 5 minutes and don’t have certain nerve or leg joint problems.

Who can take part

  • You can stand by yourself and walk for more than 5 minutes
  • Your age fits one of these groups: 18–50 or 50–80
  • You do not have a current or past nerve (neurological) problem in your legs, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or acute neuritis
  • You do not have a current or past leg bone/joint (orthopedic) problem, such as knee replacement, rheumatoid arthritis, or sports injuries
  • Your lower-extremity issues (if any) are not from the types listed in the exclusions
