Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer confirmed by biopsy
- You've had breast surgery (lumpectomy or mastectomy) with lymph node staging
- Your cancer is stage T1, T2, or T3 AND meets high-risk criteria (advanced lymph node involvement or early-stage nodes with other risk factors like age under 40, negative hormone receptor status, or grade 3 tumor)
- Your surgical margins are clear (no cancer cells at the edge of removed tissue)
- You are in good overall health (able to carry out most daily activities without major limitation)
- You have not had previous radiation to your chest, underarm, or lower neck area
