Test atropine eye drops to slow worsening nearsightedness in kids

Who can take part

  • Your child is age 6 to 11 and has myopia in both eyes (bilateral myopia).
  • Myopia started when your child was at least 4 years old, and it has been getting worse before.
  • Your child’s nearsightedness measurement is between -1.00 and -6.00 (in each eye) based on a cyclops-free (numbed) eye measurement.
  • Eye pressure is under 21 mm Hg in each eye (checked at screening).
  • Your child can see clearly enough with glasses for each eye to meet the trial’s distance-vision test.
