Low-dose atropine drops to slow children's nearsightedness

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 3 and 12 years old.
  • Your child should have nearsightedness (myopia) measured between -0.50 and -6.00 diopters in each eye.
  • Your child cannot have used atropine drops, special contact lenses, or certain glasses for myopia control before.
  • Your child must have healthy eyes (no lazy eye, crossed eyes, glaucoma, or other eye diseases).
  • If your daughter has started her period, she cannot be pregnant and must use birth control during the study.
  • Your child must not be allergic to atropine or any ingredient in the study drops.
