This Phase 1 study tests a lab-made immune cell treatment (TIL) boosted with CD40L, plus nivolumab, for stage IV or returning non-small cell lung cancer with specific gene changes (EGFR, ALK, ROS1, or HER2). It aims to help your immune system attack the cancer after it has grown despite standard treatments.

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have stage IV or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer with gene changes in EGFR, ALK, ROS1, or HER2 (ERBB2)
  • Have had the cancer grow after at least one prior cancer treatment, including the right targeted therapy when it usually fits your gene change
  • Be able to have tumor tissue collected: a reachable tumor for biopsy that should provide enough tissue for cell manufacturing
  • Have good enough overall health: energy level (ECOG) 0–1, expected survival at least 4 months, and blood organ test results in allowed ranges
  • Not have had prior PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint treatment for metastatic lung cancer
