Who can take part
- You have non-small cell lung cancer that has spread (stage IV) or cannot be removed, and you’re not eligible for neuroendocrine tumors
- You have at least one tumor spot that can be surgically removed so the study can grow tumor-fighting T cells (TILs)
- Your cancer has already been treated with at least one initial (first-line) systemic therapy, and it has gotten worse
- Brain metastases are allowed only if there are 3 or fewer, they’re under 1 cm, and they’re not causing symptoms; treated spots must be stable
- You must have a generally good body status (ECOG 0 or 1) and be age 18 to 72
- You need to meet immune and blood/organ lab thresholds and be free of HIV and active hepatitis infections
