- You need to be between 15 and 20 years old
- You have a mild Class II overbite (about 2–4 mm overjet) and not a severe one
- Your jaw growth pattern should be normal or mostly horizontal (not vertical)
- You should have mild crowding (less than 2 mm) in both upper and lower teeth
- You must have healthy gums/periodontium and good oral hygiene, with no gum disease
- You must not have had braces or other orthodontic treatment before
