Remote follow-up for low-risk blood clot patients

Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed in the emergency room with a blood clot: deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, and it was judged “low risk.”
  • You have health coverage/social protection and can receive study follow-up through that system.
  • You are not already being treated for the clot, and doctors do not suspect a heparin-related low platelet problem.
  • You do not have active bleeding or a high risk of bleeding, severe kidney failure, cancer, or other major medical issues that would complicate care.
  • You can use the internet for remote visits and have a primary care doctor to coordinate care.
  • You can understand the study (language/mental ability) and can read or write; you are not under legal protection.
