- You have been diagnosed with endometrial cancer (any type or grade).
- You are planning surgery that removes the uterus and both ovaries/tubes (hysterectomy + bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy).
- There is no sign of cancer spread outside the uterus before surgery, and no suspicious lymph nodes or distant metastasis.
- You have not had pre-surgery cancer treatment like chemotherapy or hormone therapy (neoadjuvant therapy).
- You have no serious limits in general health: adequate blood counts, liver, and kidney tests, and good enough ability to function day to day.
- You do not have uterine sarcoma, and you have not had certain prior pelvic/abdominal treatments or surgeries.
