Who can take part
- You are between 21 and 80 years old
- You have symptomatic gallstone disease, confirmed by imaging tests like ultrasound, CT, MRI, or endoscopic ultrasound
- You are scheduled to have your gallbladder removed (cholecystectomy), with or without an ERCP procedure for bile duct stones
- You are willing to sign a consent form and join the study
- In the last month, you have not taken antibiotics or probiotics (except antibiotics within 48 hours around surgery/ERCP)
