Who can take part
- You are between 15 and 74 years old
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less
- Imaging shows uncomplicated acute appendicitis (not perforated or with major complications)
- Your fever and blood tests are below specific limits, showing no severe infection
- You can safely go home the same day and be monitored for about 12 hours, including being close to care and having a phone
- You can sign the consent form (and if under 18, a parent/legal guardian signs too)
