Walking plus Tai Chi coach via video for COPD and pain

Who can take part

  • You’re 40 or older and can give informed consent
  • You have COPD based on breathing test results or CT scan evidence of emphysema, and you have long-lasting pain (pain score over 3 for 3+ months)
  • You can walk at least one block, bend at the hip, and shift weight from one leg to the other
  • You can do the step-tracking setup (Fitbit Inspire 2) and have internet access (or are willing to use the study site computers)
  • You can join by video (audio and video) and can complete questionnaires and return visits
  • You should not have a COPD flare in the last month or serious, unstable heart/booster blood-pressure/heart-rhythm problems
