Who can take part

  • Be between 6 and 39 years old when you join
  • Have Down syndrome confirmed by your doctor (one of three types is okay)
  • Have survived acute leukemia: ALL or AML (including myeloid leukemia linked to Down syndrome)
  • Finish all leukemia treatment at least 36 months (3 years) before joining
  • No history of bone marrow/stem cell transplant for treatment of your leukemia
  • Live in a way that allows you and a parent/guardian to complete study forms in English or Spanish
