Who can take part
- You must have had a Holter heart monitor test within the last 6 months before your first unipolar ablation, ideally not while taking anti-arrhythmia medicines (beta-blockers are allowed).
- Your first unipolar ablation must be for fast rhythm beats that start at the base of the heart (doctors look for this pattern on the ECG leads).
- Your procedure plan must follow the standard detailed mapping/measurement steps, including checking all three heart regions and repeating evaluation if the first attempts didn’t work well.
- Your symptoms/monitor results must fit one of the usual reasons for ablation (for example, very frequent PVCs on Holter, or any sustained ventricular tachycardia, or multiple symptomatic non-sustained episodes).
- You must agree in writing to join the study.
