Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You are being treated at the hospital’s Perioperative Disability Unit (UPOH)
- You have a pressure ulcer that is linked to a bone infection and you are planned for a surgical flap
- You have a neuromotor disability (a nerve or movement-related disability)
- You (or your legal decision-maker, if you can’t) agree to join the study
- You must have social security coverage

This study tests a special care package designed to prevent pressure ulcers (bed sores) in surgical patients. If you are having orthopaedic surgery and are not already at high risk, this package may help protect your skin during recovery.
