Who can take part
- Be age 18 or older and willing to sign informed consent
- Be able to manage daily activities fairly well (Karnofsky score over 60)
- Have an expected survival time of more than 6 months
- Have confirmed cancer that has spread to 1–10 spots on scans, plus a main (primary) tumor
- Complete recent restaging scans within 12 weeks before starting
- If radiation includes the chest, prior CT scans must not show scarring-type lung disease (ILD)
