Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older and willing to sign informed consent
  • Be able to manage daily activities fairly well (Karnofsky score over 60)
  • Have an expected survival time of more than 6 months
  • Have confirmed cancer that has spread to 1–10 spots on scans, plus a main (primary) tumor
  • Complete recent restaging scans within 12 weeks before starting
  • If radiation includes the chest, prior CT scans must not show scarring-type lung disease (ILD)
