  • You are 18 to 64 years old
  • Your health status is mild to moderate (ASA grade I to II)
  • You have one herniated disc causing nerve pain at one level in the lower back (L2-3, L3-4, or L4-5)
  • A CT scan or MRI confirms the herniated disc
  • You can sign informed consent
