Who can take part
- You’re a woman with stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer
- You are scheduled to receive chemotherapy that includes anthracyclines
- You can do most daily activities (performance status 0 to 2)
- Your expected life expectancy is at least 6 months
- You’re able to have heart MRI scans (CMR) as part of the study
- You have no allergy to nicotinamide riboside (Niagen) tablet
