Interventions to make primary care diagnoses faster and safer

Who can take part

  • You are cared for in one of the participating primary care clinics when the study starts
  • Your last available blood hemoglobin is low: under 10.8 for females or under 12.5 for males
  • Your white blood cell and platelet counts are normal, and prior related results were normal within the last 2 years
  • Your kidney function screening test is low: eGFR under 60, and prior eGFR and matching creatinine were normal within the last 2 years
  • You are not pregnant and you can speak English or Spanish
