This study tests whether a specific wound rinse (“SynEx”) helps healing in adults with certain types of recent arm or leg wounds. You would not be eligible if your injury is too severe for home-type care or if it involves specific excluded conditions.

Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older, and have an acute (recent) arm or leg wound from puncture, penetration, laceration, a certain type of gunshot wound, or a partial-thickness burn
- Your injury must be within 72 hours of the initial injury (not older than that)
- You must have access to a phone or computer to join telehealth study visits
- You must be able to provide informed consent and follow all study instructions
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
- You must not have a known allergy to any part of the wound-rinse system
