Who can take part
- You have a new diagnosis of small cell lung cancer confirmed by lab testing (biopsy or fluid sample).
- Your cancer is extensive stage (Stage IV) and you have at least one spot that can be measured on scans.
- You have not had any previous cancer treatment (no prior medicines or chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer).
- You can do daily activities fairly well (ECOG 0–1) and are expected to live at least 3 months.
- You must have enough organ function (blood counts and heart/liver/kidney health will be checked).
- You cannot have certain conditions like active brain metastases that are unstable or certain lung inflammation history.
