Who can take part

  • You have liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) confirmed by scan and/or biopsy
  • You test positive for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg+)
  • Your liver function is in class A or B (CTP class A–B)
  • Your main treatment plan includes radiation to the liver tumor
  • Your liver function is not class C, and your condition is not severely limited (ECOG score must be 2 or less)
  • You have not had prior radiation to the same area being treated, and you’re 18 or older
