Who can take part

  • Your child is older than 120 days when the first negative blood culture happens
  • Blood tests showed Candida in the bloodstream, and later blood tests turned negative
  • Your child started a specific antifungal medicine (like caspofungin, micafungin, anidulafungin, or rezafungin) and stayed on it without gaps
  • After the infection was identified, your care team confirmed it stayed cleared before starting the study
  • Your child has either improved or met the study’s definition of clinical response by the time they are randomized
  • There was no suspicion (and no scans needed/ordered) that the yeast spread to other organs

Shortened treatment for uncomplicated blood yeast infection
