- You are female and between 21 and 59 years old
- You have a ventral hernia of sufficient severity (BMI over 25 kg/m²)
- You have a “floppy” abdomen
- You have separation of the rectus muscles in the abdomen (recti diastasis)
- Your overall health is not too risky (ASA score 3 or less), and you do not have diabetes or major heart/liver/kidney problems
