  • You are a candidate for a liver transplant under standard (accepted) medical guidelines
  • You can agree to take part and understand the study
  • You can give informed consent (or consent can be obtained properly)
  • You are not coming for a repeat liver transplant (not a re-transplant patient)
  • Your transplant is not for fulminant hepatitis (a sudden, rapidly worsening liver failure)
