Who can take part
- You are 18 to 75 years old and can sign informed consent, with good follow-up and treatment plan adherence
- You have confirmed esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (cancer confirmed by lab tests on tissue or cells)
- Your cancer is stage II or III and is being treated without surgery (biopsy is allowed)
- There is no distant metastasis (the cancer has not spread to far organs), and your tumor can be measured
- You have nutrition risk: PG-SGA score is B (2–8) or C (9+)—not “A”
- Your general health is strong enough (KPS ≥ 70 and ECOG 0–1) and recent blood/organ tests (liver, kidney, bone marrow) meet limits
