Who can take part

  • You must have esophageal squamous cell carcinoma confirmed by biopsy.
  • Your age must be between 18 and 75 years.
  • Your cancer stage must be II, III, or IVA and considered removable by surgery.
  • You cannot have received any prior cancer treatment like chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy.
  • You must be in good general health with adequate organ function (blood counts, liver, kidney, heart, and lungs).
  • You must agree to use effective contraception during treatment and for 3 months afterward, if applicable.
