Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have serious kidney injury (AKI) called Stage 2 or 3, and it has been persistent for at least 2 days.
- Your kidney injury is NOT caused by certain immune/bleeding conditions (like glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, or thrombotic microangiopathy).
- You are NOT already in end-stage kidney disease (for example, dialysis dependence, or very low baseline kidney function).
- You can give informed consent and can do the study visits (in person or by phone/video) after discharge to the right type of setting.
