Wearable patch study to predict sepsis rehospitalization

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have been admitted to the hospital from the emergency department after sepsis was suspected and confirmed by a specific organ-failure score change
  • Have a sepsis episode that started recently (as defined by the study’s timing and scoring rules)
  • Not plan to switch to comfort-focused care within 6 hours after sepsis
  • Be able to receive a skin patch on your body (no severe burns or skin conditions that block patch placement)
