Salvage surgery study for recurrent head and neck skin-cell cancer

Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You previously had head and neck squamous cell cancer treated with radiation, with or without chemotherapy.
  • Your current cancer is in the oropharynx, mouth/oral cavity, larynx, or hypopharynx, and it is residual, recurrent, or a new primary.
  • Your cancer is something doctors think can be surgically treated (no surgically inoperable T4b tumors).
  • You can give consent for collecting blood/tissue samples for molecular (DNA/tumor-marker) testing.
