Who can take part

  • Your baby was born full-term at 37 weeks or later
  • The pregnancy was not caused by a special medical situation (physiological, spontaneous pregnancy)
  • Your baby seems well right after birth, with an Apgar score of 7 or higher at 5 minutes
  • Your baby’s weight is in a normal range (above the 10th percentile and below the 90th percentile)
  • A urine sample can be collected and read clearly (it must be interpretable)
  • There are no major health or lab abnormalities, and your baby does not have early circulation problems (low blood pressure or dehydration/shock needing fluid) in the first 3 days
