  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are currently admitted to a hospital unit like general medicine, geriatrics, ICU, or a rehabilitation/subacute care ward.
  • During the study, you need a nasogastric (nose-to-stomach) tube placed to help with feeding, nutrition assessment, or medicine.
  • You can be included only if you are not receiving a life-saving treatment at the moment you are enrolled.
  • You are being treated in a setting where this study’s staff can perform the tube placement and monitoring during the study period.
